The Wagner Society webinar series continues as the Society welcomes back Maestro Jonathan Khuner. The performances have been postponed due to the restrictions imposed by the current Covid health and safety guidelines.

Jonathan Khuner will talk about Wagner’s influences and about his early opera Das Liebesverbot. There will be a lot of musical examples for this presentation.

Khuner now serves as the Music Director of West Edge Opera (formerly Berkeley Opera) and frequently conducts for Island City Opera (Alameda). For West Edge Opera, Khuner recently conducted acclaimed performances of Three Penny Opera and Pelleas and Melisande. Khuner also conducted Tristan und Isolde and Nabucco for the Claude Heater Foundation.
