Stephan Schlüter, The Consul General of the German Republic, has extended an invitation to the Wagner Society to a special concert on December 3rd at 7:00 p.m.
The concert features the famous Augsberg Cathederal Boys Choir (Augsburg Domsingknaben) in a concert of traditional Christmas music. The Choir is famous all over Europe and has participated in performances and recordings with conductors Kent Nagano, Sir Colin Davis, Fabio Luisi and Jeffrey Tate and have performed at the Vatican.
The concert was made possible by a generous gift of Mr. Kurt Viermetz as a symbol of gratitude for the German-American friendship and is free to the public.
The location is the beautiful St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church at 3281 16th Street in San Francicso. The venue is a 3 block walk from the 16th and Mission BART Station.
Below is a flyer for the performance.
