The Bayreuth Festival Box Office just posted an announcement that tickets for Festival 2014 are still available for sale through the on-line Box Office! This is rather shocking news.

Move quickly, these tickets are certain to sell quickly? Purchases are limited to 14 tickets, yes, that’s fourteen.

One wonders, If tickets are available this late in the game perhaps allocations to Wagner Societies resume. Others suspect that Wagnerians are “hung over” from the dearth of Wagner last year.
