It is helpful to make the subject line as informative as possible, so a reader looking for one thing need not read everything. “Tickets needed!!” is not helpful; “Two for Tannhäuser 10/18” much better.
You should probably respond to posts here as Private Messages so the rest of the users don’t have to look at everyone’s discussions.
