It was announced that Speight Jenkins, much beloved former General Director of Seattle Opera, just received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the International Opera Awards in London. Jenkins will speak about the award and about his tenure with the Seattle Opera on BBC Radio 3 today at approximately 7:00 a.m. Pacific time. Most BBC3 programs can be played on demand.

Congratulations Speight Jenkins on this richly deserved recognition for the years of wonderful opera and Wagner.
