The San Francisco Public Library offers a series of lectures “Opera for the People”.  Tuesday March 17th from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. they will offer a talk by Larry Oppenheim: “The Flying Dutchman”. This talk will be held at the Richmond Branch of the San Francisco Public Library. 

“Opera for the People” is a lecture series run by Larry Oppenheim.  Larry is currently President of the Kensington Symphony Orchestra in the East Bay, where he is co-principal oboe and solo English horn.  He also writes the program notes.  Larry’s goal is to make classical music more enjoyable and accessible to “all the people”. Mr. Oppenheim is also a member of the Wagner Society of Northern California.
