There was a capacity audience for the WSNC screening of Hilan Warshaw’s film “Wagner’s Jews” and after the screening Maestro Jonathan Khuner moderated an excellent, lively discussion of the film and it’s subject matter.

Of note, during the film several WSNC members thought that they saw a familiar face and they did! 2013 Merolini and 2014 Adler Fellow Noah Lindquist was one of the pianists filmed accompanying singers in several scenes. At the time of the filming, certain recital scenes were recreated in the Liederkranz Foundation Music Salon in New York City. Noah Lindquist was studying at the Mannes School at the time and was selected to accompany the singers.

DVD’s of Hilan’s film are available for purchase by contacting the Wagner Society for more information.
