A hobby archeologist in the German region of Rhineland Palatinate has discovered a cache of silver and gold artifacts dating to Roman times. The items are estimated to have a value of over 1 million Euro.

Some speculate that the treasure may be the Nibelungen hoard cast into the Rhine.
