Geneva Ring Tour – Occasionally tour directors contact the WSNC regarding various opportunities for group travel to Wagner operas. This one comes via HAT Tours, a company which has been around for a while.
This is for your information only and is NOT an endorsement of the tour company. Should you book, let HAT Tours know that you heard about the offer through the Wagner Society of Northern California.
A message from HAT Tours: There is still time for you to sign up for our very special tour to Geneva to see Wagner’s Ring Cycle in GENEVA, world renowned centre for diplomacy, full of museums and art galleries all over this compact city.
You will have the golden opportunity to see the CERN exhibition where deep below the ground experiments are performed to split nuclear particles colliding at the speed of light!
You will stay 7 nights in the deluxe Hotel Ambassador with your room facing the beginning of the River Rhone and the famous Geneva Water Fountain.
The cast of this Ring’s singers include top ranking interpreters of Wagner’s operas. Among them as: Wotan – Tom Fox, American baritone who sang Alberich at the Met in 2013; Wanderer – Tomas Tomasson, Icelandic bass-baritone; Siegfried – John Daszak, renowned British tenor and Brunnhilde – Petra Lang, German mezzo-soprano.
This tour departs U.S.A. on May 18, 2014. It would be great to see you again this year. We have 6 places left on this tour.
With best regards, Aspee & Grethe – HAT Tours
