In a recent New York Times article, soprano Deborah Voigt spoke with Anthony Tommasini about her short notice withdrawal from the Washington National Opera’s production of Tristan und Isolde. Voigt is not including the role of Isolde in her future repetory and she is also dropping the role of Brunnhilde.
