There is an Application for everything. 

WSNC Received an e-mail introducing a new Wagner App for IPhone which has leitmotive and many other interesting features. Wagadmin doesn’t use an IPhone so if you are a user, it would be interesting for members to give it a test drive and report back.

COMMENT = I have just written and published a new iPhone app which should be of interest to you: 
Wagner Ring. This is a list of ~150 of the important Leitmotifs in Wagner’s Ring, along with a piano rendition played by me.

The themes are listed in an expandable table grouped by opera, then by first appearance of the theme within the opera. 

This is a great tool to learn the meanings of the principal musical themes of the drama, and will enhance the Ring-goer’s understanding and enjoyment of a performance.
