Should they stay or should they go?

A recent opinion column in the British publication The Guardian, suggests that the salvation of the Bayreuther Festspeiele lies in the exit of the two daughters of Wolfgang Wagner – Katharina Wagner and Eva Wagner-Pasquier

Demand for tickets has not diminished in recent years, the wait is still several years.  It is estimated that for every seat in the Festspielhaus, 5 people have sent in a request. The Festspiele continues to thrive in spite of controversy and avant garde productions.
