For those Wagnerians interested Pacific Opera Victoria in Victoria, BC presents British Columbia’s first Wagner in a generation!
Der fliegende Holländer in beautiful Victoria at the Royal Theater, Victoria will receive performances on October 6, 8, 12 and 14 at 8:00 p.m. and a matinee on October 16 at 2:30 p.m.
Pacific Opera Victoria is plesed to announce this production led by conductor Timothy Vernon, directed by Glynis Leyshon with sets by Allan Stichbury and Costumes by Nancy Bryant. And if you recognize the name Relyea . . . you are right – it is the very talented father of Merolini and Adler – John Relyea. Some of the WSNC members will remember John Fanning as the Wotan from the Ring in Montreal some years ago.
