Recasting the Ring 

Although the Wagner Society was disappointed that Speight Jenkins was unable to speak to our group  as his already hectic schedule became further complicated by the need for foot surgery, Seneca Garber, Seattle Opera's Education Programs Coordinator, stepped in to present an update on the preparations for the upcoming 2009 Ring cycle.

At the end of the Q & A period, Steve Sokolow, President of the WSNC, presented to the Seattle Opera
a contribution of $1,000 for the Ring production.
